For the purpose of creating new business utilizing AI related technology, promoting the accumulation and enterprises of AI related companies , securing, training and further accumulating AI related human resources, in 
Sapporo City , the Sapporo City IoT Innovation Promotion Consortium It was 
decided to establish "Sapporo AI Lab (Sapporo AI Lab)". 

"Sapporo AI Lab" aims to realize social implementation of AI related technologies by supporting the development of concrete solutions that are useful for actual citizen life and corporate activities, as well as information dissemination and awareness raising activities .

AI関連技術を活用した新たなビジネスの創出やAI関連企業の集積・企業の促進、
AI関連人材の確保・育成および更なる集積を目的として、札幌市ではこのたび、
札幌市IoTイノベーション推進コンソーシアムのもとに
「Sapporo AI Lab(札幌ＡＩラボ)」を設立することとなりました。

「Sapporo AI Lab」では、情報の発信や啓発活動にとどまらず、
実際の市民生活や企業活動に役立つ具体的なソリューションの開発を支援し、
AI関連技術の社会実装の実現をめざしてまいります。
