We are a (Japanese) husband and (Australian) wife team, living the dream in the picturesque countryside of Hirafu-Niseko (powder-snow capital of the world). Cocoroya is our business, but also our life. Both coming from a design background, we love the beauty, purity and perfection of antique Japanese treasures and sharing them with our customers from all around the world.

Great friendships have been forged in our Niseko-Hirafu store with our loyal and enthusiastic patrons that frequent the store in and out of the ski season. It is always a great pleasure re-homing our extensive range and seeing the excitement on the faces of the new owners. Likewise, hearing the positive feedback from our on-line customers makes our job enjoyable and gives us the encouragement to scour Japan for more unusual and interesting antiquities.
